Week of April 6

The Lord is risen!  He is risen, indeed!  Alleluia!  As we continue our celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, we are pleased to have special guests with us on Sunday April 11th who will enrich our service with songs of praise.  This is the second time MYPAC901 has enriched our service and we are excited to have them back again.  Check them out @mypac901.com

This Sunday, April 11th, at 9:30Voter’s Meeting to approve the new church Constitution.  If you attend early service, please stay for this important meeting or come early if you normally attend the 10:30 worship service.

The Blood Mobile will also be visiting Grace Celebration on April 11th.  If you are able, please consider donating a pint of blood. 

The Grace Men’s Basketball team will play on April 11th versus Highland Heights at 6:00 pm in the Immanuel gym.  All are invited to support our team. 

Spaghetti Dinner and silent auction to benefit the Grace Celebration Child Development Center will begin at 5:00 pm this Thursday, April 8th.  Good food and a great cause that we should all support.  You can still purchase tickets at the door for only $5 per person.

EVENTS CALENDAR

No mid-week or special services are scheduled for this week.

April 17th, the staff of the Child Development Center will attend a workshop to improve their skills and maintain accreditation.

April 18th, the Gideons will give a presentation on their mission.

April 24th, March of Dimes Walkathon by Abby Nathan’s team. 

April 25th, Confirmation.

May 13th, Grace Celebration Child Development Center graduation.

May 16th, recognition of our High School Seniors.

May 16th, Thrivent Chapter Volunteer Recognition Banquet at St. Luke Lutheran Church  2000 Germantown Pkwy N. starting at 4:30 P.M.    Dinner at 5 with program following.  Guests will be asked to give a voluntary $5.00 contribution to be donated to the Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity. Thrivent volunteers from various congregations will be recognized for their service to the church and community. The OWL award will be given to an older volunteer.   Main door prize is a 19” color flat screen TV.  Entertainment will be provided by “The Sunday Traffic Brass Quintet”an outstanding local  group .
